STRING

The STRING luminaire series makes possible for the first time, what many specialist planners and architects have been demanding for a long time: „An escape sign luminaire, with a circumferential, transparent glass frame and integrated, separately switchable emergency luminaire.“

The design of the STRING luminaire is reduced to the bare minimum with the visible light panel. Thanks to the flat structure of the housing, the luminaire can be integrated discreetly into any architectural situation. A special feature of this luminaire is the combined version with integrated emergency luminaire. The additional function is integrated unconspicuously in the luminaire housing.

Brilliant design

The application purpose of the STRING emergency luminaires differs significantly from conventional emergency luminaires. Integrated almost invisibly into wall or ceiling architecture, the STRING emergency luminaires are used in addition as basic and/or night lighting.

Large variety of sizes

In case of small viewing distances, the baby-light-panel with the size of a smartphone is the ideal solution for discreet integration into the architecture.

Brilliant design

The STRING-light panel stands out due to a circumferential, transparent glass frame and integrated escape sign. Thanks to the extremely restrained design, the luminaire adapts optically to any architectonic surrounding.

Exchangeable LED-lamp

The LED-lamp is integrated invisibly in the panel and can be exchanged without any tools. The LED-light source exchange is limited to the exchange of the lamp, protects the environment and reduces maintenance costs at the same time.

Innovative plug-in system

The luminaire housing and the light panel are connected through the plug-in system, without any tools. The mechanical as well as the electrical contacting occur through the used pins. Optically disturbing mounting parts and supply cables are avoided.

Continuous dimming function

The dimming function is the solution for disturbingly bright esacpe sign luminaires in cinemas, training rooms or theatres. The escape sign luminaires, which are dimmed in normal operation, switch to a higher lighting level during emergency operation mode.

Integrated emergency luminaires

The emergency luminaires illuminate the escape route, integrated almost invisibly into the housing. The emergency luminaires are operated independently of the escape sign pictogram and only switch on in emergency operation mode to brighten up the escape route.
